What tiny tweaks can you make to increase your smile-time?
Giving can make you feel good. It doesn’t matter how big or small, it is just important that you are giving from your heart. I am fortunate to learn from my generous friends, and want to share a few items that have gotten my attention. As we flutter into the month of LOVE, you might try giving to your flock and see how many smiles you get back.
Thanks to the following good eggs for adding joy into my week! These croissants that Leah gave us melted in my mouth and made me feel like I was in a Parisian bakery (or what I dream that is like).
Kristin got this adorable book when her niece asked her to be a bridesmaid. Spoiler alert: Todd stop reading this because I might be giving you this book for Valentine’s Day. Knock Knock has some great notepads and journals as well (I have mentioned my Gratitude Journal from here before).
Amy & Tiffany introduced me to celebrity nutrition expert Ali Miller, and I have listed to a few podcasts and tried her smoothie recipes. She is teaching me a lot about what we eat and how to make tiny changes to our meals.
Drawing is my meditation..
I have been trying to draw for 15 min. a day to calm me down AND sneak in more creative time.
Tell me something that has made you smile. There is so much that can bring us down, it is important to stay focused on what brings us JOY each week and SHARE it! You never know who might need a good laugh.
XOXO,
Sami
