Be courageous and be curious.
If you follow me on social media, then you know I have been making an effort to have FAITH this winter. Trying to trust the process, and to have faith that it will all work out. This month, I am setting my intention to also be CURIOUS. I want more discussions that energize me and I am sure I am not alone in my desire to cultivate more meaningful conversations.
I love a picture book that teaches as, and we can all learn from Curious George and his adventurous spirit. “Curiosity- genuinely wanting to know more about something- creates an openness to unfamiliar experiences, laying the groundwork to experience discovery, joy and delight.” Curiosity can be nourished by asking questions, and can be dulled with routines.
I have struggled this month to read a book and have found online articles and podcasts easier to digest. Experience Life magazine was on Dan & Tiffany’s coffee table and I have grabbed the mag at Barnes & Nobles. This article has some good tips on expanding your curious brain. Their podcast; The Living Experience, is helping me make little shifts in my lifestyle towards a happier healthier one.
Can’t sleep?
Thanks to Matt, I can now listen to podcasts when I wake in the middle of the night. This pillow speaker slips right into your pillowcase. I have made my way through a lot of the How I Built This pods, and Canva’s Melanie Perkins talks about being curious in her episode.
