April showers bring.....ANXIETY
Spring brings sunshine and flowers, but also spring sports, ramped up schedules and a calendar that is working overtime. Juggling these little things in my head seems very stressful at three a.m.. That stress carries into the next day and no one wants to be around me when I am overtired. I have been making little adjustments towards reducing my anxiety, in hopes of getting a better night’s sleep. Little steps should have me sleeping like a baby by summertime.
Sarah did the research so we could give our Mom a blanket for Christmas. After her testimony, I got a weighted blanket for our couch and we all enjoy napping under it (not together).
Simba tends to roam our hood, so this collar Laura told me about helps us keep an eye on him in the yard.
Make Your Own Bed
I worry that my boys will grow up to be slobs. This came in his Christmas stocking and it sits on Mason’s nightstand. I hope he eventually will read it. My favorite quote from the book;
“If you want to change the world … find someone to help you paddle.
You cannot paddle the boat alone. Find someone to share your life with. Make as many friends as possible, and never forget that your success depends on others.
